Friday Flowers: Fall Colors

The first days of November are chilly which brings out the rich colors of Zinnia elegans and American Pokeweed (Phytolacca americana) . The branches of Cerecis canadensis ‘Forest pansy’ are almost leafless in the garden exposing the river-like silvery branches.
