Hot summer days in the garden

“With freedom, books, flowers and the moon who could not be happier.” – Oscar Wilde

Liquid sunshine is what from Rosa ‘Midas Touch’ brings to this bouquet; screaming of hot summer days! The pale pink flowers of Amaryllis belladonna have a sweet fragrance to match the softness of its flowers. Celosia ‘Sparkler wines’ deep blooms off set the red stems of the Amaryllis and  Ceolosia ‘Bombay’ look as if they washed ashore with their coral-type flowers. Both species can be dried for winter wreaths and bouquets. The fine wisps of Solidago ‘Fireworks’ woven in between is just beginning to open with its petite yellow blossoms.
